Guerlain- Blanc de Perle

Guerlain has seen the unique power and properties of the Pearl since the 19th century.
The new range, Blanc de Perle embodies just that...

I've been using some Gurlain products, like the Rougue Automatic lipstick, and the L'or makeup base with gold flakes.

This time i was given 2 products to try, and i must say, no turning back!

ok. fell in love with this! their new Pearl range. the white bit is made of real pearl! (harvested from the west coast of Japan)- illuminates and highlights areas like the T zone or nose bridge, to "enhance and magnify light". Even has the all-important SPF 20

super long pasting, light, nice smell (roses? non chemical-ly) and pretty white cover. 2-way cake and 2-sided sponge (different texture)
Retails at SGD $94 and refill at nl SGD $69! Super worth it.
Definitely sticking to this brand and changing from my current. This really lasts the whole day considering i've combination skin and in the air con and running around for appointments the whole day.

also this whitening essence. super easily absorbed into the skin, without a sticky residue and light enough to wear under makeup! helps with anti-ageing and to detoxify your skin. looking forward to luminous skin!

was at the TANGS roadshow over the last weekend

the left hand side is a light perfecting primer to blur dark spots and smoothen and soften the skin's texture. and no, you don't squeeze out the little balls, haha. just pump normally form the bottle.

next to it is a brightening foundation and skin refiner.for hydration and a matte finish.

^_^

Guerlain was the first to start with the colourful balls to reflect light and highlight, but for now, they've come up with this for pure radiance. the rosy white revives freshness of your complexion, bluish white for yellow undertones nd pure white for translucency.

canapes!

oh they also have a spot eraser which isn't tinted. lessens the intensity of dark spots.

New Year Resolutions 2011/2012

Hi!
Haven't been blogging cos I kinda lumped all my pics onto Facebook n now it's kinda at a point of no return hahas.

But I'm going on leave so maybe will post more pics from my trip n other stuff when I'm back in SG.

Looking at last years' agenda,

1. Boat license: big OOPS 2 or 3 years running...
(procrastinated haha yet again)

2. Exercise - new gym membership after 1.5 years since I quit fitness first. Heh. But naise place, love to work out and watch tv n then jacuzzi later. Shiok!
N all n recently lost weight which is a good thing ^_^

3. Earn 80% more than last year, yup
Exceeded and was a good year cos of 2 promotions so achievement-wise I'm pretty happy.
Plus I qualified for a couple of stuff and trips so yeah.

4. Pass M6. I didn't sit for it BUT I did take my CFP
Module 1 n got the AFP so considered exempted n hard work was definitely involved... Omg I study so slowly one plus work = no joke. (please, look at d sheer volume of that book ok!)

5. Healthier lifestyle, well being, vanity stuff... well beginning of d year w herbal life haha. I missed d Stan chart marathon tho. Braces yes are off! Teeth whitened! Changed up my hairstyle... :)

Reflections 2011:

Was a really busy first 2 quarters cos I was working really hard everyday, then hit d gym. Hardly any partying, everything was more concentration than anything else. Super focused and game-face on haha. Scary. MIA a little there.
Having said that I've become rather pro at streamlining and cutting out d negative stuff so it's good to learn how to prioritize the important stuff.

Cut back on traveling as compared to
Last year but still attended like 12 weddings (lost count, bloody hell) and one was in Shanghai and one in UK. Visited new places! Prague but it sucks. Crazy inventive trips to Boracay which was wicked and Phuket...ok I've been to Phuket before but it sucks too
IMO.

Heart my colleagues and kinda sad that the team is so ideal and family-like now and I'm leaving for another position and I'll miss my room :( hahas.

Big changes 3rd quarter of the year.

By then I'd hit my full year target so now ive started to party chill and lifestyle more laid back but I'm happy lah cos that's how I'd envisioned Dec you know?

Q3 impact kinda shook me up. Life is totally real and different outside fairytale land, yo!

Never been so handicapped but I'm resilient ok! Things happen for a reason but surprisingly I'm
Totally ok cos... I'm focused and determined! But not actioning much right now (end of year pls give me a break) but still focused ok! Haha

Just painfully self aware and conscious. Also it just reiterated and basically just accelerated what I needed to do for and by myself.

Trust urself ur gut and depend on u, urself. Other good things will come. Sure one. Always does.
Again don't hold back else ull never be satisfied.

Lastly i dunno...I'm perpetual happy high mode. Weird...haha, or winding down maybe.

It's the feeling of some clarity of what you're gonna do, like *challenge accepted*

Plus it's getting what you've always wanted. Like alllllways! Happy! What you've envisioned and always wondered about. Cautiously so, perhaps but, guess gotta chill and don't sweat d small stuff and just enjoy.

For the coming new year:

1. Continue healthy lifestyle n vanity stuff cos I have a target body type I'd like to have plus must maintain since next year and from here on out im going to be forever 25. Must participate and actually show up
At 1 marathon next year.

2. Buy house. Ooh. Big commitment. This could take 2 years lah huh not sure yet. Depending on price and how I'm doing next year... Guess even if I wasn't going to stay in SG this would be inconsequential. But that's thinking too far, already 5 year plan that one and who knows what d future will bring.

3. Earn 50% more than this year. Taking in slow, baby. Different ball game. Could be a struggle.

4. Just be happy lah. Vague i know. But uber important. Don't over think, don't second guess. If it doesn't hurt or stress or anger you, why not. Life's short and I'll just take that leap of faith

5. Travel to all the other bits of SEA I haven't been, or Spain, Germany of South America

.:: /Pr[a]g[u][e]/L[o]nd[o]n/ ::.

aka one of the worst trips in my life next to Phuket.
other than James' and Merry's wedding which was touching,
i dont feel like talking about this bloody trip at all.
but here are the pics anyway and enjoy.
